Women Going for Plastic Surgery to Fit into High Heels

Surgery to help make wearing high heels easier for women.

Women Going for Plastic Surgery to Fit into High HeelsAs the summer approaches, most women look forward to doing their favourite ritual in summer: whipping the pretty high heels out. Although, most women are aware of the harmful effects of wearing high heel shoes, they still wear them for the sake of being trendy and admirers of vertiginous heels have found a painless way to sport trendy: dermal filling in their feet or toe jobs. According to the Daily Mail in the UK, the inquiries about dermal filler injections into toe pads, balls and heels of the feet made by women has grown by 21 per cent over the last one year in the UK.

Described as being “virtually painless”, dermal filling involves the injection of collagen into the feet of a woman to give a pillowy effect and providing a built-in-cushion to help soften the strain arising from wearing high heels.  The treatment is administered by an experienced practitioner and costs about 320 Euros. The result of the treatment lasts for about 6 months or more.
The dermal filling treatment shot the market an all time high after the sale of 6-inch heels quadrupled in the last 12 months. Another procedure known to make it easier for women to wear high heel shoes includes that of surgically shaving the sides of the pinky toe or a toe tuck down. These procedures help in fitting the foot into pointy and narrow shoes that apparently haven’t taken off the trend.

Another procedure is called the Cinderella Procedure, a preventative correction, which helps in narrowing the foot. Injectable fillers that were traditionally used for the face have now been used to smooth the tops of a bony feet and droopy knees. With the heels getting higher, resorting to cosmetic feet surgeries has become the only immediate and effective solution to reducing their side-effects.
