What is Type 1 (Type One) Diabetes Cure?

Follow the dietary advice and do regular exercises to cure Type 1 diabetes.

The aim of treatment of type 1 diabetes is to treat diabetic ketoacidosis and prevent high blood glucose levels. In people with type 1 diabetes the symptoms can be severe especially in newly diagnosed cases.

Currently there is no cure for type 1 diabetes. Research for potential cure for diabetes is going on. The researchers are trying to transplant insulin-producing cells into people with diabetes. Insulin is the hormone that helps in metabolism of glucose or blood sugar. Lack or insufficient insulin in the body causes diabetes.

If you or your child has type 1 diabetes ----take the prescribed medication (insulin) to lower blood sugar as recommended. In addition to this follow the dietary advice and do regular exercises.

Follow up regularly with your doctor.

If you or your child is on insulin to control blood sugar (because of diabetes) you should try to learn how to adjust the amount of insulin when:
