Cancer of the kidney is that type of cancer which originates in the kidneys. The human kidney is in the shape of two beans, each of which is about the size of the fist. These two beans are located behind the abdominal organs and they sit on either side of the spine.

Kidney cancer seems to be on the rise with passing time, and one reason for this could be the fact that the imaging techniques in use, such as computerized tomography are in use more often and these tests can lead to the accidental discovery of more kidney cancers. Renal cell carcinoma is the more common type of kidney cancer in adults, and other less common types can also occur, therefore we cannot rule out any possibility. Young children are more likely to develop a certain kind of kidney cancer which is known as Wilms’ tumour. In many cases the cause for a kidney cancer is not known, but this does not mean that we cannot do something to prevent it.

Smoking is a major problem for the human body, and you can get ill in more ways than one when you smoke. Therefore, if you are a smoker, you have all the chances of getting kidney cancer. Healthy Eating

Just because you are eating four meals a day that does not at all prove that you are eating the right foods and staying healthy. While it is true that not everyone with the risk factors get kidney cancer, but if you have the risk factors it is best to discuss them with your doctor.
