Chronic pain is one of the most common reasons why people visit the doctor and more often, it is also a cause for several other annoying problems such as those related to mental health, gut and sometimes, the skin. It is an even more dreadful plight for someone who is also chronically ill because such a person needs hoards of medication to control symptoms of chronic pain. Much worse is when these medications that run up to hundreds and thousands on the bill take no charge of providing chronic pain cure because they do not target the root problems but the symptoms.

So what is the root cause of chronic pain?

One of the main causes of chronic pain is the poor functioning of cells that are, as every layman knows, the building blocks of the body. And the root cause of poorly functioning cells is strained mitochondria, increased inflammation and disruption in the hormones caused by solvents, plastics and other man-made chemicals inside the body. Every other cause apart, the biggest reason of chronic pain is a poor quality of diet.

A common trait among people affected by chronic pain is their special likeness for sugar; it is said that they consume about 68 kilograms of sugar and more than 45 kilograms of flour every year.  So much of sugar and flour consumption can crowd the nutritional value of vegetables and other healthful foods.

How to heal chronic pain

The first thing that every patient suffering from chronic pain should do is eliminate sugar and flour-based products from their diet and increase their consumption of berries and non-starchy veggies. The next step is to cure unrecognized gluten sensitivity by removing gluten from the diet.
So, it appears the best chronic pain treatment is a change in diet and lifestyle.
