Men Take More SelfiesA recent research found out that men take twice more selfies and share them on public platforms than women.

The survey was conducted by the smartphone company HTC in which 2,000 Britishers were included. The results found that a quarter of men shares selfies with a motive of making their ex or current partner jealous, reported the Daily Star.

It was found by the researchers that on an average men post three self portraits each week as compared to women who only post 1.6 pictures.

The results of this survey also revealed that men capture their bodies in a picture 76 percent more compared to 45 percent of women. Almost 20 percent of male show their chest followed by 17 percent who show their torso or six packs.

Men also confessed that they do so to make themselves appear more desirable.

It was told by Ben Walsh of HTC that the selfie trend exploded in 2014 and showed no signs of slowing down, instead of that with all the social sites and dating apps having the best possible photos was an important part.
