Hydro-massage helps the muscles to relax and relieves any pain and tension that may be there in the muscles. This type of hydrotherapy is also referred to as colon cleansing; as the name suggests, it involves the infusion of waste materials from the body by way of pushing water into the rectum. This type of hydrotherapy makes use of hot and cold water on the skin and is followed as part of the Kneipp bath. This system helps to improve the immune system by way of toughening and reinforcing it. Some other treatments under Kneipp system include water treading, snow walking and dew walking.
