Healthy Recipes: Carrot Smoothie

Winter is the time when you can consume carrots in abundance. Have it in salads, have it as a sweet dish, or try our new carrot smoothie, you will love it.

 


Key Ingredients: 2 tablespoon of dried  pumpkin seeds (for garnishing), ½ cup of fresh concentrated carrot juice, ½ cup of tofu/ skimmed milk paneer, ½ cup of grated carrots, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 cup of low-fat yoghurt, 2 tablespoon of orange juice, a pinch of grated ginger, salt as per taste.

 

Pour all the ingredients in the blender and blend. Serve it in small bowls and garnish it with pumpkin seeds!

 

Nutri-check: Carrots are rich in beta-carotene and are excellent for eyes! Remember how Bugs Bunny feasts himself on carrots all the time? Now you know the reason why!
