The largest organ in human body is skin, and is equally susceptible to damage. It can get damaged by influence of sun, or dust, or dryness. To prevent damage, it is important to keep healthy and glowing at all times. A balanced, healthy and nutritional diet plan is one of the requisites to maintain healthy skin. Vitamin E is another vitamin that makes inroads against free radicals that affect skin like smoke, carcinogens and environmental pollutions. Spinach, nuts and olives are considered best sources of Vitamin E.

Minerals and Fatty Acids

Fat soluble antioxidants, which are richly found in seafood, are considered good for dry skin. Minerals and fatty acids make skin become soft, supple and collagen rich.


Consuming volumes of water is the simple remedy of maintaining nourished skin. Referred to as rinsing agent, water clears out toxins from human body and maintains streamlined functions of liver, kidney and other organs.
