Vinita Gogia, meditation therapist, demonstrates Gomukhasan. Sit on floor with your legs straight. Slide your left foot under your right thigh and cross your right leg over your left. Your knees should be on top of one another if they are not causing discomfort. Fold both your hands behind your back with the right palm facing out and elbow resting at torso and left hand crossing your shoulder. While doing so, inhale gently. Join the palms of both hands behind the back and exhale. Maintain this pose for few seconds. You may use a yoga strap if your hands cannot reach each other.
