Tips for ParentBy Onlymyhealth Editorial Team / May 21, 2010
Vinita Gogia, meditation therapist, demonstrates the sheetali pranayama or cooling breathe prananyama. Sit on the floor in any comfortable meditative posture. Your hands will rest on your knees in gyan mudra. Open your mouth, fold your tongue, breathe in deep and exhale through the nose. You can repeat this pranayama for as many times as you can. This yoga posture regulates body temperature, purifies blood, tones liver, spleens and also facilitates muscle relaxation. People, who experience bouts of acidity and high blood pressure, must practice sheetali pranayama.
