Tips for ParentBy Onlymyhealth Editorial Team / Feb 10, 2011
Sarvangasana or Shoulderstand, is an inverted asana in yoga. It is considered as the "queen" of asanas, an important and beneficial pose for your eyes. To begin, lie down on your back on a mat and lay the arms alongside your torso. Press your arms against the floor as you exhale and push your feet away from the floor, drawing your thighs into the front torso. This asana not only keeps your brain calm, helps relieve stress and mild depression but also tones the legs and buttocks. Watch this video to know how to do Sarvangasana or Shoulder stand.
