Sunil Sharma of Maximus Fitness Academy, New Delhi, tells about lateral raise exercise. This exercise is especially designed for lateral deltoids. In this, sit on a bench and hold one dumbbell with each hand at the side of your body. Now lift the arms parallel to the ground to the shoulder level. Keep your chest out and stretched during the exercise. Breathe in and out during the exercise. Hold the dumbbells for two seconds in the up position and then relax. While performing the exercise keep the body stable and maintain the angle. This exercise is meant for inner and outer shoulder muscles and the trapezius.
