Swine flu is a common disease that spreads through respiratory droplets that are coughed or sneezed out by an infected person. One of the first myths is “I need to be tested for Swine Flu” when someone doesn’t necessarily have to be tested for the disease because many tests show negative results even when the person is positive. The second myth is that “swine flu is spread through pigs or pork” when it actually is spread through respiratory droplets. A person working at a meat factory, however, must be vaccinated.
