How to use a highlighter

BY Onlymyhealth Editorial Team2015-05-13T00:00:00+5:30
Highlighter is something which can impart a little bit of life into your looks as it enhances your features. There is a large variety of highlighter available in the market. You can use liquid, cream, powder or glossy highlighter. Apply highlighter just under the brow bone in order to make your eyes appear large and for a glowing skin apply a small dot of highlighter on the cheek and blend it with brush. Apart from brow bone and cheeks, you can also apply highlighter on the bridge of the nose, if the oils from the skin are under control, blending it with a foundation which is a shade or two darker than the natural skin tone on the sides to make your nose appear slimmer. However, avoid using it during daytime in summers as skin gets little oily during summer. But you apply it anytime during winters. You can also give your lipstick a clean look by applying highlighter on the cupids bow and a pinch of highlighter can be applied to the inner corner of the yes to brighten them up.
