A healthy diet contains adequate amount of calories, minerals, vitamins and proteins with adequate amounts of fat and oils which are required for daily activities. Diet is planned according to the activity level, age and particular gender. Breakfast should never be skipped and it should be balanced to kick start the day with good energy levels. An ideal breakfast contains fruit (apple or banana), oats, daliya, corn flakes or wheat flakes.In addition small but frequent meals should be taken throughout the day.
