1. Healthy lifestyle 

A healthy lifestyle plays an important role in keeping the hair healthy. One should consume a nutritious and balanced diet everyday with daily exercise for atleast one hour. When you are healthy from within, it reflects on your hair and skin. 

2. Avoid smoking 

Avoid smoking as it can accelerate hair loss and premature graying. Smoking restricts blood supply to the hair and it can make your hair unhealthy, leading to hair fall. 

3. Maintain a haircare regimen 

Make a habit of taking care of your hair everyday. A hair care regimen should include washing your hair with a good shampoo along with conditioning. It will make them smooth and healthy. 

4. Avoid hot tools and chemicals 

You should also avoid using a hair dryer and hair straightener as these hot tools can be harmful for your hair. Let your hair be air dried. Use a soft towel for drying your hair as it can cause breakage. And, avoid too much chemical usage on your hair. Use a wide comb to detangle your hair. 

5. Manage stress

If you have stress, it will immediately have an effect on your hair and skin. Stress can cause hair loss and stop hair growth. It is important to manage stress and deal with the main cause of stress. You can try meditating to manage stress.
