Chest Exercises- Cross Over Pulley

Sunil Sharma of Maximus Fitness Academy, New Delhi says that cross over pulley is an isolation exercise for chest. Always keep your chest up, back tight and knees bent while performing the exercise. In this exercise hold each handle of the pulley in one hand. Stand at the centre of the machine. Now with your palms facing downwards pull each handle of the pulleys towards yourself by bending your elbows. Breathe in while contraction and breath out while releasing. Wait for two seconds during contraction and then relax. Take three to four seconds for each repetition. This exercise is meant for toning chest muscles. It is beneficial for pectoral muscles, shoulder muscles and cardiac muscles.
