Don't Stress

Anxiety and stress are among the most common problems all of us experience these days. Taking a nap right when you are feeling tired and being less active can help you freshen yourself, however, stress and anxiety wouldn't let you go for it. No Physical Exhaustion

If you have been feeling the need for a quick nap this afternoon, don't participate in any strenuous activity. Don't climb too many stairs or exercise immediately before your nap. Maintain at least 45 to 60 minutes gap between your exercises and your nap. Image Courtesy: Getty

Don't Stay Hungry

If you are hungry, it is very likely that you will be unable to take your nap. Take your lunch and satisfy your hunger. You will then be able to take your quick nap easily. However, avoid too much spicy food or overeating that may leave you uncomfortable. Image Courtesy: Getty

Don't Rely on Sedatives

Avoid sedatives or alcohol to initiate a nap. It will not only ruin your nap but also leave you feeling even worse after you wake up. It is also possible that you sleep longer under the effects of the sedatives and wake up feeling tired and sluggish. Image Courtesy: Getty

Avoid Alarm Clocks

Don't use an alarm to wake up from your nap. Take your time to develop the healthy napping routine and soon your body will automatically wake up on time. An alarm clock during a nap may ruin the relaxing effects of your nap. Image Courtesy: Getty

Follow a Nap Schedule

Take your nap preferably at the same time every day. Not only should you stick to your schedules, also take naps in the same duration. All of this will help your body to naturally get accustomed to taking afternoon nap. Image Courtesy: Getty

Avoid Coffee

You shouldn't drink your coffee right before the nap. It will affect your nap quality and may even leave you unable to take that afternoon nap. Schedule your cup of coffee to anytime after the nap. Follow these quick tips to get a wonderful afternoon nap. Image Courtesy: Getty
