Happy Birthday, Sallu Bhai!

Girls go weaker on their knees, the moment Salman appears on the big screen. And when it's Salman Khan aka Sallu bhai's birthday today, the celebration should be grand. Bhai has a huge fan following and the reasons are JUST justified. From exceptional acting skills to a well-sculpted body, Sallu bhai has it all to make the women go weaker on their knees. Not just women, men too ritualistically follow Salman Khan. Bhai has done over 50 movies till now and some of them have some of the best life lessons that you can learn. Have a look!

Bajrangi Bhaijaan

This movie teaches us that love and humanity knows no religion or nationality for that matter. Salman plays the character of a very simple Indian Hindu man, Bajrangi, who goes out of the way to reunite a mute Pakistani Muslim little girl with her parents. Love, the real love is not just between a girl and a boy, real love is an emotion that you can have for anyone and “Being Human” is important than being Hindu or Muslim, Indian or Pakistani.

Jai Ho

Now, Jai Ho had a very simple plot line. The movie revolved around corruption and fostering kindness in people. In today’s world being kind is considered as being stupid and naïve while it is not true. Your kind deeds are being counted and that will come back to you. Your kindness will pay off but don’t be kind for a reward, be kind to people for no reason at all.

Phir Milenge

Although Salman Khan did not have much screen time in this movie but this movie passed on a very strong message. The movie talked about a very serious social issue, AIDs. People with HIV actually get mistreated and this movie got the essence right. Salman played character of an HIV positive patient and with just minutes of screen time, Salman’s commendable acting skills drowned us in our tears.

Baghban

Now, this movie taught us to be respectful to our parents. Movie did not do well on box office but Salman as a good son did more than just well. Parents have sacrificed a lot for us, how many times have we done the same for them? Be nice to your parents, obey them, do your all to keep them happy, not because they have done the same for you, do it because they are your parents and they deserve to be happy.

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam

Love is unpredictable! Salman played character of a guy, named Sameer, who falls in love with an Indian girl, Nandini, played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but the Nandini gets married to another guy, Vanraj, played by Ajay Devgan. Now, Nandini is still in love with Sameer while she is with Vanraj but the moment she gets the chance to go with Sameer, she realizes that she loves Vanraj. Love is unpredictable, it really is!
