Do not Over Wash

Many people feel their hair becomes greasy too quickly. Hence, they wash it often. However, over washing your hair can strip them of essential oils which are needed to maintain their health.

Pick the Correct Shampoo

Each time you pick a shampoo and conditioner, go for the ones which are volumizing. You will find lightweight polymer-agents in these shampoos which limit product build-up that is responsible for hair to weigh down.

Use Baking Soda

At least once a week, you must wash your hair with baking soda. Make a mixture by adding three parts of water with 1 part of baking soda. Let it remain on your hair for at least 15-20 minutes, depending on the length of your hair. Rinse it off with water.

Dry Hair in Upside Down Direction

To let your hair bounce, dry it upside down while lifting them away from the scalp. Apply a light hairspray and flip your head again.

Scrunch your Hair

This can be an effective way to add volume to your limp hair. Mix three teaspoonfuls of sea salt and add 1 cupful of water in a spray bottle. Spray the mixture onto your hair and scrunch.

Change your Parting

When you switch the way you part your hair, it can give an instant lift to your hair. Avoid your hair getting used to the same old parting. Changing the parting will keep the roots on toes and lift them up.

Get a Layered Cut

Irrespective of the length of your hair, you must get a layered cut. This will add volume to your hair instantly that too without any daily hustles. If you have fine hair, go for soft layers at the chin and if you have medium to thick hair, opt for choppy layers all over.
