Brazil’s coffee crop

Change in weather pattern and rise of temperature contribute to exhaustion of crops. The severe drought in Brazil caused prices of coffee to skyrocket. If this continues, you could see Latin America not making coffee ever again.

Cocoa bean plants are in great danger and people who love chocolate might suffer a major setback. The immense rise in temperature and mediocre rainfall in several parts of African countries has negatively impacted cocoa plants.

If you really love eating smoked salmon or salmon fish, you probably won’t get to eat it in the near future because it is becoming highly endangered. Salmons live in cold water that has a temperature level of 50 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit, but the rise in overall temperature has led to a rise in water temperatures too, making it difficult for the fish to survive in their natural habitat.

Italian pasta

If you are in love with spaghetti, your likelihood of eating a plate of it will soon be distant. Australian scientists have predicted that climate change will make Italy’s durum wheat yields to decline and the crops to even vanish from the country later this century.

Honey too is on a decline as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has noted that honey bees are now endangered. It is due to the use of lethal and dangerous pesticides on crops that honey bees struggle to survive. Honey bees that come to suck the nectar of flowers get sprayed with these chemicals, which makes it fatal for them and the honey we eat.
