Diabetes may take a toll on your health, but one thing that it is very likely to affect is the choice of the desserts you eat. Your doctor may deny you access to those delicious desserts that you have loved all your life. Things can be even worse for you if you have a sweet tooth. But, as they say, it’s not the end of the world. Here are some delicious desserts that you can enjoy despite being a diabetic. Black Forest Mousse Cake

Miss the good old days when you could enjoy the hot mug of chocolate? Well, you may not get access to all the food items but you can still enjoy the great taste of chocolate. If your doctor approves, you can try the black forest mousse cake. You can make yourself a hot chocolate cake with hardly any fat in it. Blueberry Cheesecake Bars

You can also make yourself delicious blueberry cheesecake bars. To prepare, preheat the oven to around 180°C.  Whisk some flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Add some butter, oil, sugar, egg, vanilla and beat it for some time until smooth. Bake the mixture to prepare the crust for about 20 minutes. On the other hand blend some cream cheese, sugar, and cornstarch until creamy. Add some eggs, lemon, and vanilla and beat it.  Once creamy spread it over the crust. Fruit Treats

What can be better for a diabetic than the natural sweetness of fruits. You can make yourself a plate full of fruit salad including melons, banana, and apple. You can also add some yogurt dressing to your fruit salads to make it even more delicious. Adding a little honey over the sliced fruits will enhance the taste and double your joy right away. Whisk around 1 cup plain, fat-free yogurt, a spoonful of honey, a spoonful of lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Add the mixture to your fruit salad plate. Banana Cake

If you love bananas, here is a delicious option for you.  To prepare the perfect banana flavored dessert for yourself, prepare pudding with around 2 cups of fat-free milk. Add cream cheese to pudding and whip together. Spread pudding mixture over some crackers of your choice and spread a little crushed pineapple over the pudding layer. Add some bananas at the top to treat yourself with a tasty and healthy banana cake.

Chocolate Mousse Pie

Take around  9-inch prepackaged pie crust, 1.4-ounce package of sugar-free, fat-free, chocolate pudding mix, 2/3 cups fat-free milk, 8-ounce container of fat-free whipped topping, divided, 2 tablespoons mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake pie crust according to package directions. Remove from oven and cool thoroughly.In a medium bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk. Fold half (4 ounces) of whipped topping into pudding mixture and fold until fully blended.Spread pudding mixture into pie crust and top with remaining whipped topping. Creamy Based Custard

The creamy baked custards are easy to make and can be flavored with vanilla. To prepare the delicious and soothing hot cup of creamy custard, heat some milk and vanilla bean in a medium saucepan and let it heat for around 15 minutes. While the pan is on the burner, whisk a couple of whole eggs, and add around 2 table spoons of sugar and some flour in a bowl together. Put the mixture in a preheated oven to 125 degree Celsius. Banana Strawberry Delight

If you love strawberries, here is the perfect dessert for you. The banana strawberry packs the taste of both the fruits. To prepare, add some gelatin to water and boil it. Once boiled, allow the mixture to cool for around 10 minutes. Add the gelatin mixture and some ice cubes to a blender and blend it until all the ice cubes are dissolved. Now its time to add a couple of bananas to the blender. Blend it for 1 more minute and pour into a dessert dish. Put the dish in refrigerator for half an hour to allow the mixture to set. Once set, add a tablespoon of whipped cream and strawberry as topping.
