Moreover, whole grains provide a host of antioxidants that are difficult to find in other sources. Whole wheat is readily found in bread and pasta products. When you’re shopping for any whole-grain product, take a look at the label and make sure it says "100 percent whole wheat". Don’t let food marketers trick you with words such as “multigrain”.

Corn contains B vitamins, magnesium, phosphorus, and is also high in antioxidants. High-fibre corn fills you up to help you lose weight. It is also an excellent snacking option (popcorn) for those trying to lose weight.
