Now to eat the right kinds of food mean that you will need to eat those foods that are full of nutrients and will give you body all the essential ingredients for a better life. Understand that you should induce some very important foods in your daily diet so that you can load up on all that are essential for your body.

Eggs

Eggs are a great source of protein and they allow you to remain full for longer periods of time. Just by eating scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast you are loading up on a very satisfactory food, and you have chances of eating less during lunch. Also, egg yolks contain lutein and zeaxanthin, these are antioxidants that keeps your eyes healthy.

Beans

You have a great plant based source of iron in bean. Iron is important for the transportation of oxygen from your lungs to the cells present in your body. You should team up beans with vitamin C rich foods such as sweet potatoes and lemon juice. This will give a boost to iron absorption. Apart from this you also get a lot of fiber from beans.

Nuts

You have a rich source of heart healthy unsaturated fats in nuts and numerous studies have shown that by eating nuts you can add an extra two and a half years to your life. Walnuts are the best among the nuts, with high level of alpha-linolenic acid, and omega-3 fatty acid that is linked to heart health and mood.

Sweet Potatoes

These are just great, your body would convert the alpha and beta carotene present in them into active form of vitamin A. This will help to keep your eyes, bones, and immune system healthy. Also, phytochemicals that work as antioxidants can sweep up disease promoting free radicals. Just one medium sized sweet potato is good for you.

Broccoli

This may not be your favourite vegetable to eat, but it certainly is great for you. Broccoli is often considered to be one of the best vegetables for the body. The most important thing here is that broccoli has a healthy dose of sulforaphane, which is a type of isothiocyanate, and this helps to fight against cancer.

Eat berries because they are a great source of fiber, fiber also helps to promote weight loss. Among all the berries, Raspberry contains the most amount of fiber and at the same time has ellagic acid in them which is a compound that has anti cancer properties. You could of course also eat blueberries and strawberries, but they have lesser fiber content in them.
