Spoon:The Beauty Enhancer

Having soup with that spoon? Did you know there was much more that you could do with it and the best part, all those will help you enhance your beauty. Here are few tricks which you can do with your spoon to look beautiful.

Dark Circles and Under Eye Puff Reduction

Take two metal spoons and put them in the freezer overnight. In the morning, apply the back of these cold spoons under your eyes and try to put them as close to the inner corners as possible. With a little pressure, slowly move the spoons towards the outer corners. When you move the spoon outwards, it drains out the fluid that is stored underneath the eye and the coldness will help you reduce puffiness.

Applying Perfectly Winged Liner

Holding handle of a spoon against the outer corner of the eye, draw a straight line. Now, flip the spoon in a way that it is hugging your eyelid and make use of the outer edge to create a perfectly curved winged tip. Once the outline is made, fill it in and make a line across the lashline to give the final touch up.

Applying the Perfect Mascara

While holding the curve out, place a spoon below your eye and then apply mascara like you normally do while lowering your lashes. By doing this, you will have the excess mascara on the spoon and not on your skin. This will also work when you are applying mascara on the upper lashes. Hold the spoon on the top of your upper eyelid to have that perfect mascara.

Fixing the Broken Compressed Powder

Having a broken compressed powder product can break any girl’s heart. But worry not! Your cutlery will come to your rescue. Add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the damaged product and press the pieces back together using the back of a clean spoon. Keep it for drying.

Curling Eyelashes

When you don’t have your eyelash curler handy, make use a metal spoon instead. Hold the curved edge of spoon right above the top lashes with the back of the spoon against the eyelid. Use your finger to press the lashes against the edge to mimic the clamp of an eyelash curler. Now, you can move the edge of the spoon out along the lashes and continue pressing.

Making your Own Customized Lip Colour

Pick one of you favourite eyeshadow pigments and blend it with a bit of a salve like VMV Hypoallergenics Boo-Boo Balm or petroleum jelly in a spoon. Now use your finger or brush to apply the new customized lip colour.

Doing Nail Arts

Put a few drops of your favourite nail pain into the spoon. This will let you easily dip small tools into the paint for nail art designs.
