Low intensity blue light from your gadget can alter and delay your body's internal clock and makes it harder to get up in the morning. Say bye to your friends an hour before bedtime.

Not drinking enough water

Many people underestimate the importance of drinking enough water and do it only when are thirsty. Getting enough fluids and water keeps your organs healthy, boosts energy levels, detoxifies your body, curbs hunger, betters digestion and poses many other benefits. Take regular sips throughout the day to reap many a benefits.

Slouching or hunching over

Poor posture is the most common reason behind shoulder, back and neck problems. Slouching or hunching over can also give you headaches and digestive problems. Sit upright and improve your posture for core stability and flexibility.

Catch up on sleep during the weekend

You can’t make up for the 'sleep debt' by sleeping for more than eight hours a couple of nights in a row. Catch up on sleep by going to bed earlier every day, rather than sleeping more later during the weekends.

Slim down with exercise

Regular exercise helps you lose weight, but not alone. In order to lose weight, you have to cut down your calorie intake too. Most people work out hard but consume calories without any thought, only to make up for the calories they burned.

Don't socialize enough

You may think you are happy with your solo runs, but social connections are good for your health too. Try to make time to meet up with friends. Connecting with other people and maintaining those social networks contribute to your overall health and well-being.
