Give yourself a Fish Treat in order to Increase Sperm Count

A new study has suggested that if you wish to have a newborn in your family then you should eat fish, as it seems to be increasing the sperm count.

fish for better sperm countA new study says that in case if you are thinking of having a child of you own then you should eat more fish instead of bacon and other such processed meats. Fish happens to improve the sperm count in men.

Researchers for this Harvard University study questioned 156 men who were found to have trouble to conceive a baby with their parents. They were questioned regarding their diet and the size and shape of their sperm. This was reported by the Sydney Morning Herald.

These findings showed that the regular processed meat eating males have lower amounts of normal sperm when compared to those men eating less of bacon, sausages, hamburgers and ham. Also, men who ate a portion of white fish every other day were found to have a better sperm count than those who ate foods such as cod more rarely.

In a statement Dr. Myriam Afeiche from the Department of Nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health said that the study showed that processed meat intake was in fact associated with lower semen quality and also that eating fish led to higher semen quality.
