Dahi Kebab Recipe

Kebabs are descendants of the Mughal Dynasty and have blended extremely well with the Indian food culture. One can easily find different versions of kebabs and each one is better than before. Try this out and experience a new flavour this winter.


Key Ingredients: 4 grams of white pepper (powdered), 1 tablespoon of refined oil, 4 grams of cardamom powder, 30 grams of cashewnut (grounded), 1 ½ litres of skimmed milk yogurt (drained of all the water), 2 large onions (chopped), cornflour (to dust), 100 grams of low-fat cheese (grated), salt as per taste, 10 grams of coriander leaves (chopped)


Sauté onion and ginger in refined oil till it turns slightly brown. Add the remaining ingredients and muddle well. When it hardens a bit, form them into coins, relatively bigger than that; what we call as tikkis. Dust them in cornflour and fry it in oil. Garnish it with salad and lime juice and serve!
