Lemon is very acidic so it acts as natural bleach. So if you wish to get your hair bleached or get highlights, you needn’t visit a salon and pay a high price. You can bleach your hair with the help of a lemon.

For getting highlights, choose the sections you wish to highlight. Then coat the sections with lemon juice. If you wish to get bleached hair, apply a liberal dose of lemon juice on your hair. You can blow your hair dry or go out in the sun to lighten your hair. You should protect yourself with a sunscreen when you go out in the sun.

After spending 20 minutes in the sun, rinse your hair. Let your hair dry up. If you still haven’t got the desired effect, you can reapply the lemon juice and step out for a while.
