As you age, the skin on your face undergoes a lot of changes, such as it gets lines and wrinkles and loses a bit of elasticity and tightness. In short, you start to look old. Depending on your age, makeup styles and techniques should be varied so that you don't look messy in wrong makeup.

Foundation is a key element of makeup which you should never skip in the name of streamlining your makeup routine. The right choice of foundation for your unique skin type is eminent which even your skin tone, erase discoloration and make you look young. Hence, a thick and heavy foundation on a face when settles, it makes fine lines, giving you a dull complexion and even making you look old. So a lightweight foundation should be aimed for makeup.

Choosing the wrong blush color

Each one of us varies in height, weight, color, behavior and so on. Depending on the appearance, the accessories and cosmetics will vary for all of us. Therefore, choosing a harmonious blush is important to enhance your natural luster and cheekbones. If you opt for the wrong choice then it can look harsh.

Your lips are defined by lip liner hence, heavily-lined lips will instantly date your looks. And if you love to use lip liner then, use a natural curvature of your mouth to keep the look modern and de-emphasize any feather lines around your mouth.

Harsh lipstick

You might think that a bold lip color will make you look fuller, but the opposite is true. As we age, the lips become thinner and the harsh lipstick shades make them look thinner. Choose a neutral color that better suits your skin tone.

Only lining your bottom lashes

Lining only your bottom lashes is easier, so many women prefer this. But the problem with severe liner on the lower lid is that it makes your eyes appear smaller and bottom-heavy making you look older. Applying eyeliner to the top should be mandatory which brightens your face and keep your eyes look lively and awake.

Using the wrong concealer

Choosing the right concealer is very important because it will professionally mask those fine lines and wrinkles or make them pop. If the concealer you choose is too thick or the shades are wrong, you will suddenly emphasize everything you want to hide.
