Kids just love jams; even we used to get excited to eat them up when we were kids. Didn’t we? You can spread them on bread, roti or even dosa. Should you really get jams available in the market as you have no idea how healthy or nutritious they are? But you can ensure that they are healthy and nutritious by preparing jams for your kids at home. Here we bring the recipe of pineapple jam for you that you can easily prepare at home.
Add chopped pineapples with half a cup of water in a mixy jar and grind them to make a smooth paste. Place a pan on the stove and put your pineapple puree in the pan. Stir it for ten minutes. Next add sugar and continue stirring it for about 20 to 30 minutes. Once this is done, add the colouring agent (preferably yellow) and 1 teaspoon of lemon to the puree. Continue to stir. Once the mixture becomes thick and sticky, transfer it to a serving bowl.
