If there is one thing that scares people away from any kind of physical activity, that’s back pain problem. Back pain is caused by an injury to a muscle or ligament in back. Any nerve deformity in spinal cord may also result in back pain. Common causes include improper weight lifting, poor posture, lack of regular exercise, any fracture, ruptured disk, or arthritis. The severity of your injury will significantly affect which exercises you are able to perform. While it may seem reasonable to skip exercising while in pain, there are several exercises that can actually help you reduce the pain and improve the quality of your life. That being said, it does not mean that it is easy. It is advisable that you consult with your doctor before you try any exercise on your own; as back pain differs from person to person. One of the common exercises for back pain is the plank pose. But you won’t be able to reap its benefits if you don’t perform it correctly. Repeat each exercise a few times, and then increase the number of repetitions as the exercise gets easier. This exercise not only helps to reduce the pain but also conditions your core, works your glutes and hamstrings and supports proper posture. You must try these workouts to get rid of back pain.
